PlayAblo SD is designed to assess and improve the spoken English ability of the learners. The content covers wide range of topics in spoken English and life skills which help the learners become job ready.

The app is designed in such a way that the front end app and the content are decoupled. The front end application stays common, but the content can be customised based on the needs of the target audience.

Currently, PlayAblo quizzes have 6 types of questions. These are:

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) – with one correct answer.
• Multiple, Multiple Choice Questions (MMCQs) - with more than one correct answer
• ‘True or False’ and ‘Yes or No’ Questions
• Match the Following
• Drag & Drop (Rearrange the order)
• Sort

Leaderboard positions are determined solely by the points one earns in the Time Trial mode, which in turn are driven by the following factors:

• Level of the quiz
• Speed of answering questions

PlayAblo is currently designed specifically for Android smartphones. PlayAblo works on Android OS versions 4.4 (Kitkat) & above, though we recommend version 5 (Lollipop) and above. Devices with 1GB RAM are sufficient, though performance on devices with 2GB RAM or more is better.

Screen sizes of 4” (inches) and above up to phablet-sized devices (5.1” up to 6.99”) are optimally tested for best user experience. For best results, we will endeavour to constantly upgrade to support latest of android versions. You may also install & use it on Android tablets, or access PlayAblo over the internet using the Google Chrome browser.

The facilitator dashboard provides in-depth insights on the progress made by learners on various topics covered by PlayAblo and the performance in each topic

The facilitator can measure the learning outcome using this dashboard and get specific actionable insights for each student that can addressed individually.

PlayAblo’s team will provide the access to each facilitator to access the dashboard. The dashboard will give qualitative insights into the classroom performance of the students.

No. PlayAblo works in a blended model where it assess, supplements and reinforces what has been taught to the learners.

Following metrics will be available online and real time to the leadership and management team on the dashboards:

• Gameplay progress – No of users who have not started, partially completed or fully completed the topics in the course menu
• Accuracy percentage – Provides the accuracy percentage of each topic based on the game play of the learners
• Accuracy percentage of each user in every topic – Provides the accuracy percentage of each user in all the topics in the course menu
• Usage – Provides the time spent on the app and can be viewed across processes, offices or regions
• Pre-assessment and post assessment scores – Provides the direct measure of performance improvement by comparing the pre-assessment and post assessment scores. This can be viewed at an aggregate level to measure across processes, offices or regions

The PlayAblo team will provide the user id and password to access the management dashboard.
